The Ledge

 A famous and devious location in Freetown State Forest. “The Ledge” was once owned by the Fall River Granite Company and was used as a quarry during the 1800's. No longer in use today it's a popular hiking spot spotted with amateur graffiti over looking the newly formed lake filled in by rain water. Many claim to see apparitions here, particularly a woman's ghost walking along it's top. Some have even seen her step off the edge and disappear below without disturbing the water.
